Torha Holdings and Beverages is thrilled to announce its upcoming 4th anniversary. Since its establishment in 2019, Torha has become an integral part of the community, providing quality water products in Bushbuckridge and surrounding areas.
Founded by Jubilation Magagule, Torha Holdings and Beverages has grown from humble beginnings fueled by determination and a mere R500 investment. Magagule, a former programs manager at Sauma Hd Radio, took a leap of faith and turned his entrepreneurial dreams into reality. Raised in Allendale, Bushbuckridge, he defied societal norms and embarked on a path less traveled.
“Starting Torha was not an easy decision, but I knew my passion for entrepreneurship was stronger than any doubt. With just R500 in my pocket, I took the first steps towards building a company that would make a meaningful impact in our community.” he said.
Torha’s journey has not been without challenges. Facing multiple setbacks, including the closure of the shop twice, but Magagule’s unwavering spirit and perseverance pushed the business forward. The support and demand from the local community played a crucial role in Torha’s continuous growth, with stock running out daily.
Reflecting on his own experiences, Magagule emphasizes the importance of shifting mindsets and embracing the potential of entrepreneurship.
“Growing up, we were taught that success meant getting a job. But I realised that true success comes from creating your own opportunities. My entrepreneurial journey began early, starting with a spaza shop I used to operate during my school years. It taught me that determination and adaptability are key to overcoming obstacles.”
As Torha celebrates its 4th anniversary, the team expresses deep gratitude to the community for their unwavering support throughout the years. To commemorate this special occasion, Torha Holdings and will be having a special on November where local people can bring their empty water carriers of containers and will refill it for free for a day.
We will also have giveaways special promotions, and a chance to celebrate together with the people who supported us throughout the the years.
