The Chief Albert Luthuli Local Municipality has kicked off its Revenue Enhancement Campaign in Ward 10 (Elukwatini C-B), bringing a range of municipal services directly to the community.
The two-day campaign, taking place from July 9 to 10, aims to improve revenue collection while helping residents resolve municipal account-related matters.
As part of the initiative, traffic law enforcement officers are conducting road operations, while municipal teams are inspecting spaza shops and other businesses to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Officials are also hand-delivering municipal account notices to residents to encourage them to stay informed about their accounts.
A dedicated customer care team has been stationed at Diepgezet Primary School, where residents can receive assistance with account queries, obtain account statements, register as indigent, enquire about the valuation roll and property transfers, and make debt repayment arrangements.
The municipality has encouraged all Ward 10 residents to make use of the campaign by collecting their notices and visiting the help desk to update their information and access available municipal services.
