Today, 28 March is the end of the Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison’s current financial year; no public services will be available. This will also affect permit offices for abnormal loads.
Moeti Mmusi, spokesperson for the Department, said this step is necessary in order to ensure proper reconciliation of the Department’s finances.
He has requested the public to be patient until the offices reopen and all services are again offered on the 1st of next month. He apologised for the inconvenience and thanked the public for their understanding.
