The vibrant South African social media personality and funeral singer known as “Lady Mo,” whose real name was Moses Sibiya, has tragically passed away at the age of 34.


He died in a hospital on Friday, July 4, following a devastating car accident on the KaNyamazane Road near MRTT College. When a Kia Picanto and a minibus taxi were involved in a head-on collision accident.

His recent song, “Dumi Dumi Dumi,” was gaining traction, securing him bookings as a musician, MC, and social media influencer.

In the wake of this tragedy, there’s been a strong plea for sensitivity.

As one person said, “I, however, ask that people stop sharing the videos of his car accident not only is it inhumane and disgusting that someone’s death is quick to become content, but I don’t think it is fair to Lady Mo’s friends and family to see their loved one, along with everyone else who passed on in that tragic accident, in that light.”
