The technical service team is on-site to ensure full operational readiness.
According to Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality’s (CALM) spokesperson, Thapelo Phetla, the project would enhance quality water supply for the surrounding communities.

“Engineers and specialists are currently conducting final system checks, calibrations and performance assessments to ensure the facility meets required safety and efficiency standards. Despite some technical complexities, the team remains committed to completing the process as soon as possible. Updates on progress will be communicated to stakeholders and residents,” he said.

Phetla added that the CALM appreciates the patience and cooperation of all affected communities as they work to deliver a reliable and sustainable water supply solution.
