Spirit and Power Cross Ministries, under leadership of Apostle MI Nzotho, hosted a special luncheon on 21 June for the cherished elderly members of their church.
The event was aimed at reaffirming God’s love and showing the community’s deep appreciation for them.
The church hall and special tables were beautifully decorated with volunteers preparing a special meal for the honoured guests. After lunch, spirits were high and the celebration continued with joyful dancing.
The highlight of the event was the gifting ceremony.

Each elder received a warm blanket and a shirt, as well as practical gifts, intended to offer comfort and as tangible reminder of the church’s care.
The initiative was born from a simple yet profound desire: to show these esteemed members they are valued, loved and an integral part of the church family.
“The idea was to put a smile on their faces. We wanted to show them God’s love for them and our appreciation of their presence in our church.

Their visible joy throughout the day was a testament to the success of this endeavour,” said Apostle Nzotho. This special day served as a powerful reminder of the importance of honouring those who have paved the way and contributed to the spiritual foundation of the church.
The Apostle’s vision for Spirit and Power Cross Ministries extends beyond spiritual guidance.
It also believes in community welfare and intergenerational connection; proof of the ministry’s commitment to love and show compassion for the benefit of the entire community.
