Another foreign national from Eswatini was nabbed with dagga.

Another foreign national from the kingdom of Eswatini, aged 36, was nabbed in Carolina for alleged dealing in dagga.

 

According to the provincial police spokesperson, Brigadier, Selvy Mohlala, police from the Ermelo K9 Unit received information about a grey Mercedes Benz trafficking dagga, and the vehicle is said to have been travelling from Badplaas (R38) to Carolina.

“They responded to the information and spotted the car matching the description as given. The vehicle was then stopped at the Carolina railway line, where the driver was approached and the vehicle searched.

“That was when a black plastic bag stashed with marijuana weighing about 6.665 kilogrammes was discovered. The recovered dagga is estimated to have a street value of about R15 000. The suspect was immediately arrested and charged with dealing drugs.
