Zaza Letsholo, founder of the Zaza Mahlangu Foundation
Zaza Letsholo, founder of the Zaza Mahlangu Foundation and a proud Mrs South Africa 2025 semi-finalist, said her journey had been shaped by resilience, service and a deep commitment to uplifting others, particularly vulnerable children who have no safe place to call home.
Recently, a king from Ndzundza Fene Traditional Council donated one hectare of land to the Foundation towards fulfilling her dream of building a safe haven for orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children in KwaMhlanga.
“This home will be a place of security, love and opportunity, ensuring that no child is left without a future. However, land alone is not enough; we need resources, partners and sponsors to bring this vision to life. I am calling on construction companies, businesses and individuals to join hands with us. Whether through financial support, donating building materials, or expertise, every contribution will help lay the foundation for a brighter tomorrow,” she said.
Letsholo added that this is not just a building project but a mission to restore hope and dignity to needy. She believes that together, we can build hope, one brick at a time.
Besides making a safer home for vulnerable children through the Foundation, she has financially supported three young people to complete their tertiary studies and offers career guidance classes to young people.
Additionally, she empowers agricultural students and graduates with practical learning and skills on her livestock produce farm.
“I entered Mrs SA because I want to amplify my voice for equality through more action, and ultimately, to inspire children and young women to believe that anything is possible. Do not let your background define your future,” she said.
