Grootboom Primary School in eKulindeni has been crowned the National Champions in the Farm and Small Schools Sextet Category at the prestigious National ABC Motsepe South African Schools Choral Eisteddfod held in Pretoria.
Representing the Chief Albert Luthuli area, the talented young singers delivered a remarkable performance of the classical piece I Passed by Your Window by M.H. Brahe, captivating both the judges and the audience with their exceptional vocal harmony and musical excellence.
Their outstanding performance earned them the national title, bringing pride and honour to their school, the local community and the Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality.

The victory is a testament to the learners’ dedication, discipline and countless hours of rehearsals, as well as the commitment of their choir conductor, teachers and parents who supported them throughout the competition.
